Katara: (Kah-tar-ah) Nickname: Kat She's a blind girl with special, unknown powers and an issued past. She is normally quite calm but when she gets mad she goes all out.
Alex: She's a healer and meets up with Kat when Kat needs healing. She's somewhat of a punk who's mother moved out because of her cheating, drunk father. (never a good combination) Her boyfriend died in the shooting.
Samuel: (now and then I spell it with two 'm's but its just a typo) (Sam-you-ell) He's a controller of fire, and has a serious crush on Kat. (but this should not be a shock to ANYONE)
Jeff: A cameraman for a news channel who ends up in serious big trouble for one particular news report. A loss of memory of what exactly happen urges him and Jess to go back to such a place. Has a crush on Jess, and is someone who blurts stuff out. He also has more of a desire to save face than to help people.
Jess: A news woman (person with the mike that actually tells you what's happenin') that works with Jeff. She is oblivious to Jeff's love, and is someone who cares completely for people, and wishes to help others. Kinda opposite in that way from Jeff.
Mr. Linkin, or Dave: (last name sounds like Linkin Park..*grin*) The principal of the school for specials, dislikes pure-bred humans (feels they are helpless) and is protective of his students and will do anything to keep them safe. ANYTHING.
Ackira: (accidentally first spelled Akira) (Ack-keer-ah) A teacher at the school who teaches the “seers” at the school. (who may or may not end up appearing in this story) His power is to see into the lives of others, and is able to see when bad things will happen to someone, or when someone has been “marked.”
Jeramy: (Jare-ah-me) A werewolf who works for the shooter. A quite sketchy teenager who is sent after one of the girls. Rules do not hold this monster inside bounds.
Dr. Vain: A man who has been Kat's friend and “eye” doctor for some time. He is a friend to her family though not much more is known of this man.
Captain: Teacher of the fighter arena (or sparring area) and is really cool.....that's all I shall say, and you shall find out why through the story. ^-^ as Yoda would say: “Great things planned for this one there are.”
